Acceptance of orders

We validate your order and credit or debit card details you submit to us before your order can be accepted. Once that has been done, we will confirm that your order has been received by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address you provide in your registration form.

Subject to further validation checks we may choose to make, our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding agreement between us.

When your order contains a Pharmacy-only medicine, your order will be subject to review by our pharmacist. Subject to this pharmacist's approval, sale of these medicines will then be made by Leedams' Pharmacy.

Leedams' Pharmacy reserves the right to restrict the number of items available for sale to any individual customer. All orders are subject to availability. If your order can not be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund.

We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards. Payment will be debited from your account before the dispatch of your purchase.

All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. Orders can only be delivered to UK addresses.

Colour reproduction

Leedams.com has made every effort to reproduce colours on the site as accurately as possible. However, different computers reproduce colours in slightly different ways, and so exact colour matches are not yet possible over the Internet.

This means that when you order products from the website, colours may differ from what you see on the screen.

If you are not satisfied with the colour of the item you have ordered, we operate a returns policy (see Returns for more information).

Price information

Leedams.com has taken great care to ensure prices are accurate. All prices include VAT where appropriate.

Delivery

Leedams.com offers a fast home delivery service. Usually, products are despatched within 24 hours from receipt of order, subject to stock.

Returns & Refunds - Cancellations

Leedams.com operates a seven-day money back guarantee (excluding carriage where applicable and excluding all medicines). Once 'unwanted' goods have been received, the customer has a seven working day cancellation period. The consumer's right to reject starts from the day that the contract is made and ends on the expiry of 7 working days starting from the day after the goods have been received by the consumer. All returns for credit/refund must have prior approval from Leedams.com and any items without such approval may be returned to the sender at their own cost. If the goods have already been despatched they must be returned to us in an unused condition.

Disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic products

A new law in force from July 2007, dealing with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), will mean that you'll need to dispose of your waste electrical products at a collection facility instead of putting them in domestic waste. The collection facility will send products for recycling to help to save resources and minimise the effects on the environment. Please refer to www.recycle-more.co.uk to find out where your nearest facility is situated. Alternatively, you should contact your local council.

How long is information kept for?

Your information is stored for two reasons:

• to ensure that any orders you have placed can be processed to completion

• so that we can contact you in emergencies, such as if there is an urgent product recall.

Otherwise, your information will not be accessed again and it will remain secure.

Information you may have supplied in relation to medicines or medical conditions is stored in a secure database for at least two years to ensure we meet the ethical requirements of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and so that we can follow up any subsequent queries.

Ordering online

Ordering online using your credit card details is just as safe as ordering goods over the telephone, if not more so. Leedams.com uses PayPal^TM to process online payments. PayPal^TM has been issued with a Secure Server Digital Certificate by the online Certification Authority, VeriSign.

In the event of unauthorised use of your credit or debit card, you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Purchasing Pharmacy-only medicines

When purchasing Pharmacy-only medicines from this site you will be asked to provide some additional information about your health, so that Leedams' Pharmacy staff can check that the medicine is suitable for you. This information is encrypted before it is sent to us. When received we hold it securely on our systems, where it can be viewed only by Leedams' Pharmacy staff. Any further correspondence between Leedams' Pharmacy and yourself will be treated as confidential and held securely.
